Aero Engine Research Center

Aiming at the "heart disease" problem in China's aviation industry, Tsinghua University began to prepare for the establishment of an aero engine research institute in 2008. In November 2011, the Aero Engine Research Center was established in the SAE.

The research center involves aerospace, mechanics, mechanical engineering, material, thermal physics, control, electronics and other disciplines, and focuses on basic research and engineering applications, the overall design of aero engine, aero engine control, turbomachinery aerodynamics, engine combustion, engine structure, system and multi-body dynamics, helicopter and other related research areas.
