研究概况

魏宇杰教授致力于固体强度与破坏的理论研究,在固体典型缺陷与裂纹的应力场求解、固体强度与塑性变形机理、本构模型、电池服役可靠性等方面取得了系统性和创新性的成果。魏宇杰教授作为通讯作者在力学、材料及物理等领域的国际权威期刊《Nature》《Rev. Mod. Phys.》《Nat. Mater.》《Nat. Commun.》《Phys. Rev. Lett.》《Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. U. S. A.》《J. Mech. Phys. Solids》等发表 SCI 论文 160 余篇。出版专著《固体工程科学——工程材料的应用力学理论与实践》(高等教育出版社);主编译著《迈向新高度》,世界知识出版社,2025年11月第一版,ISBN 978-7-5012-6430-8(原文:《Toward New Horizon: Science, the Key to Air Supremacy》A report of the ‘A.A.F. Scientific Advisory Group’ by von Karman, H. S. Tsien, W.R. Sears, et al》);作为通讯作者在《力学进展》发表《高速列车关键力学问题研究》和《页岩气开采中的若干力学前沿问题》两篇长篇综述,分别获得第二届(2017)和第七届(2022)中国科协优秀科技论文奖。魏宇杰教授曾获得国家杰出青年科学基金资助,并入选国家高层次人才特殊支持计划领军人才、中科院“百人计划”和科技部“中青年科技创新领军人才”,现任断裂力学旗舰期刊《Eng. Fract. Mech.》副主编,《Eur. J. Mech. A-Solid》顾问委员会委员,《Acta Mechanica Sinica》《Sci. China Phys. Mech.》《Appl. Math. Mech.》《Theor. Appl. Mech. Lett.》《Model. Simul. Mater. Sc.》等SCI期刊编委。

学术成果

(1)给出了二维晶体材料中最典型缺陷5-7环的应力场弹性解;

(2)解决了断裂力学中的两个经典问题:给出了偏折裂纹尖端的应力场弹性解;给出了裂纹沿任意方向扩展时的能量释放率理论表达式;

(3)在典型界面结构的变形与材料强韧性关联方面做出了一批奠基性工作;

(4)提出二次电池寿命N与充放电倍率C之间的C-N幂律准则。

人才培养

先后培养博士研究生20余人、硕士研究生10余人,指导博士后8人。其中,有 5 人获国家奖学金,6 人获郭永怀奖学金,1 人获中科院优秀博士学位论文。所培养的学生中大部分在高等院校(如浙江大学、北京理工大学、湖南大学、北京科技大学、华侨大学)、科研院所(如中国科学院力学研究所、中国运载火箭研究院、中国空间技术研究院)等单位从事相关科研工作。
